Recently, a Facebook account under the name غثز غثز shared a video of a fellow Pinay who had been working as a domestic helper in Kuwait. The film was taken while they were at Amiri hospital and غثز غثز had thought of sharing the helper’s condition on social media to seek help from authorities.
The domestic helper was identified as Divina Gracia Pascua Dijos who hailed from Davao del Sur.
In the video, Divina was seen sitting on a wheelchair. Based on the comments, she cannot walk after she fell from the stairs of the house of her employer 8 months ago. Unfortunately, they didn’t bring her to the hospital until such time when she was seen by the concerned citizen who decided to film her condition. That time, her feet already felt numbed which made her unable to walk.
غثز غثزis asking for help on behalf of Divina as the OFW expressed her desire to be repatriated to the Philippines.
Meanwhile, according to the recent post of غثز غثز, Divina is currently staying at the place of her employer’s mother in Abdulah Salem, Da ‘Ya Block 4 Street 17 House Number 13.
The post had gone viral with more than 45,000 shares and hundreds of comments from concerned netizens, mostly OFWs who wished for immediate help for Divina and that maltreatment and abuse of Filipino domestic helpers in Kuwait to be totally stopped.
